About The Event
The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, April 22nd at The Gift Horse in Foley.
Doors will open at 11 a.m. for a Meet and Greet session.
The Pledge and Buffet will commence at 11:25 a.m.
Our featured speaker, Paula Sumrall, is a proud Army wife. With 30 years of experience as an educator and having returned to Washington, DC, she dedicated her efforts to serving as a Wounded Warrior advocate and spokesperson. She retired as Chief of the Volunteer and Child/Youth Program at the National Guard Bureau, overseeing programs across all 50 states, Guam, Puerto Rico, the American Virgin Islands, and Washington, DC.
As a Master Trainer and Master Program Manager for the US Army, she authored "Our Sons, Our Daughters: A National Guard Parents' Guide to Deployment" and has contributed various articles to newspapers and magazines on military families and volunteerism.
